About the Organizers

Alexander Romanov &
Anna Blagodyreva

Alexander Romanov and Anna Blagodyreva are four-time U.S. National Champions (USA Dance & WDO) in Open Professional American Smooth, U.S. National Show Dance Champions, and finalists and winners of numerous NDCA national and regional competitions.

As competitors, coaches, and organizers, they have worked with dancers of all levels for many years. Their students have achieved outstanding results, including World Championship titles and victories at the Blackpool Dance Festival. Alexander and Anna also share their knowledge and experience through educational books, training programs, seminars, and other projects for dancers and instructors.

Austin Star Ball was created to bring dancers together in a friendly and professional environment where they can enjoy dancing, compete, connect with friends, and create lasting memories.
